How to Beware from Internet Phishing???

What is Internet phishing 

Internet Phishing is carried out via email, Skype, social media or by phishing sites that are replicas of familiar websites. For instance, a hacker may send you an email that looks like it's from a known your organization/bank employee so that you will give them your personal information such as user id, password, credit card information and like.

Another term spear phishing is also used for it that means the fraudulent practice of sending emails ostensibly from a known or trusted sender in order to induce targeted individuals to reveal confidential information.

Phishing emails or sites might ask for:
  • Usernames and passwords, including requesting for password changes 
  • Credit card details 
  • Bank account information 
  • PINs (Personal Identification Numbers) 
  • CVV number [three digit number written at the back of your card]
  • Other personal/ official details

  • It may contain links or attachments asking you to click on certain links such as those of SharePoint or “open folder”. 
  • Generally asks you to take an urgent action or refers to a previous communication 
  • Request personal or sensitive information such as Card number, password or credit card details 
  • May ask to verify your organization's password or domain account 
  • May be giving a threat or promises a reward 
  • Use “masked” links that looks like a trusted website address but take you somewhere else when you click on it. Beware from these fake and phishing emails.
  • Website addresses that are similar to, but not the same as the original link, www.twiter.com Vs www.twitter.com. Y

Protect yourself from phishing attack and do phishing test

  • Keep your computer and mobile protected with updated Anti-virus softwares.
  • Beware of links in emails that ask for personal information even emails from known internal sources. 
  • ou may get an email from an account similar to facebook that your account has been locked and fill the attached application form to unlock it otherwise it will be permanently blocked. Scan these fake emails & web addresses carefully. 
  • Always be aware and validate with the sender because above actions can cause losses for you. 
  • Always ensure to enter your email credentials to only in URLs that have authentic domain names. 
  • Be aware of pop-ups asking for personal information / password information. 
  • Never share your personal details like username, password or financial information, over electronic channels (Skype, Whatsapp or email) even if you are close with the recipient, check with the sender personally. 
  • If you suspect that you may have been conned or if you are unsure – please change your password immediately.

Do You Also Want to Earn Money Quickly???

We are growing and educated since our childhood to our Youngest age. Here are few words:


 "Dear baby, If you will study carefully then you will be a Doctor / Engineer. You will earn a lot of money and you can fulfill your dreams."


"बेटा, आप ध्यान से स्टडी करेंगे तो आप डॉक्टर / इंजीनियर बन जाएंगे। आप बहुत सारा पैसा कमा लेंगे और आप अपने सपनों को पूरा कर सकते हैं।"


You may also heard these words from your parents and may be told to your kids. One thing is clear with these words that everyone is studying / growing to earn some money with some job/profession. It means no one work for free or just give money to anyone without any outcome. But still some people think that they can earn money without doing anything.


I hope you understood purpose of my this article. I want to alert you with some spams. Due to the lack of knowledge we become victims of these phishing & spam and we lose our hard core money.


 Here are some types of internet frauds. You can be alert by follow these advices. Share this article as much as possible.

Emails for Business Proposal 


 You may get emails from a unknown email address that they are looking for business opportunities in your country and they have money to invest but they are not having person who can help them to invest. They will ask you to respond or fill a attached form with the email. So never download attachments from these kind of fake emails. You can block these kind of emails by using best anti spam software.

Emails for Winning Lottery


 You may get emails that you have won lottery for $ xxxxx, provide your details with your bank account details so that they can transfer that money to your account. Its totally fack email  [Also read: "How to Beware from Internet Phishing???" ]. If you provided your bank details to them then your bank account will get empty. They will transfer all the money kept in your bank account to their accounts. You can apply outlook email spam filter on inbox. Trash your junk folder without opening filtered emails even you see an attractive subject of it.

Fake International Calls


 You may also get phone call from the International phone numbers. They will let you  know that they are having some parcel for your name and they want to send you to your home address. They will ask to transfer some amount for courier charges to their account to get that costly parcel. So never transfer money in their account. 

Calls from Banks


 You may get some phone calls that they are your bank representatives. They will ask your bank account number, three digit CVV number mentioned at the back side of your ATM card or your ATM pin number. So please don't share these details to anyone. Bank representative never ask you these details.

You can register your phone number for "Do not disturb".  You can read this DND policy on the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India website. Your number will be added to DND list and sales person or another marketing persons can't call you. Many Indian service providers having DND forms at their website you can fill the form and register for it :

Calls from unidentified numbers


 Never pick the calls you receive from unidentified numbers or number just shows in 3/4 digits. Never call Back on this number. These are all fack calls as soon you will pick up the call or call back your phone bill will be charged and you will get a huge phone bill. You can install true caller on your phone to identify number and location from where you are getting it.

Insurance Representatives


 If you are having already invested any Insurance policy then you may get calls related to your policy. First they will share your policy details with your then ask that are you getting your investment fund details regularly? etc. so that you will believe they are from the Insurance advisory firm. They will try to fix your meeting with their fund manager to provide you details for your fund performance. When that person will visit to your home then they will try to show you that your current policy is not performing well and withdraw money from it and invest in the new policy which will give you more money on your invested money.

Job Appointment letters


 You may get some job appointment letters in which they will show that a attractive salary, joining details etc. They pick-up data from the job portals and try to target youngsters/Freshers. They will ask to come to another city via plain. But for all these things you need to deposit some refundable money to their account. So be careful these all are frauds.

Free Job Trainings


 Some Free job training and after that you will get a job with attractive salary is also a fraud. They will ask you to deposit some refundable money to their account.

Work from Home to Earn money


 To earn a quick money by working just 1 or 2 hours a day; job an training before that is also a fraud. They will ask you to deposit some money prior to training.

Social Media Profiles


 Last but not the least beware from the Social Media profiles which may show some nude/attractive pics to join their group etc.  [Also read: "How to Beware from Internet Phishing???" ]

Your hard core money is yours, do not believe in these fake money attractive schemes. If you are having money then you can invest it in many legal investment plans/schemes.
